Who’s Who

Minister: Rev. Ian Hamlin

Ian has been the Minister here at Coney Hill since the summer of 1994, following his training at Spurgeons College in South Norwood. He, together with his wife Marietta, originally emanates from Bristol hence his somewhat eccentric concern for Bristol City Football Club, Gloucestershire Cricket and Bristol Rugby Club. He worked for seven years in the financial services Industry prior to moving to London, several of them working in the same office as Marietta. Ian and Metsy have two children, Kezia and Joe.

Assistant Pastor: John Marchant

After a career in international banking, John felt God calling him to devote more of his time to church life. After training at Spurgeons College, he was inducted to the work ay Coney Hill in 2004. He was commissioned as a recognised pastor by the Baptist Union of Great Britain in 2006. John, is married, to Sue, has 2 grown up and sons and 4 grand-children.
